Advait Energy Transitions Limited, a player in India’s power transmission and distribution infrastructure sector, has joined a consortium led by Eleven Power Private Limited after the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) granted the consortium an electricity distribution license covering Gurugram and Nuh revenue districts in Haryana.

Announced on October 21, 2026, the development marks an important milestone in Advait Energy Transitions’ growth journey and expands its participation in India’s evolving electricity distribution landscape.

Advait Energy Transitions Expands Its Power Sector Presence

The electricity distribution license has been granted to the consortium led by Eleven Power Private Limited, subject to the applicable regulatory terms and conditions. Advait Energy Transitions is participating as a consortium member and will contribute its experience in the power sector, particularly through product solutions across new and renewable energy segments.

The development aligns with the broader transformation of India’s electricity sector, where infrastructure modernisation, efficient distribution networks and advanced technologies are becoming increasingly important to meet rising electricity demand.

Gurugram and Nuh form the authorised geographical area covered by the licence. The initiative represents a new development in Haryana’s power distribution sector, with the potential to support infrastructure expansion and evolving electricity requirements in the region.

However, the company’s announcement does not disclose Advait’s individual investment commitment, ownership share in the consortium or the value of any specific product supply contract.

Focus on Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Modernisation

Advait’s participation reflects its strategy of engaging with opportunities across India’s power transmission and distribution value chain. Its proposed contribution through renewable energy products and infrastructure solutions is intended to support decarbonisation initiatives and the development of a more future-ready power ecosystem.

As electricity demand increases and clean energy adoption expands, distribution infrastructure will play an important role in integrating new energy solutions and strengthening network capabilities.

Commenting on the development, Shalin Sheth, Founder and Managing Director of Advait Energy Transitions, said the consortium participation marks an important milestone for the company.
