Juniper Green Energy Limited has commissioned 101 MW of wind capacity across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan during the first fortnight of September 2026, further expanding its renewable-energy portfolio.

Following the latest commissioning, the company’s total operational portfolio has reached 2,689 MWp of solar and wind capacity, along with 503 MWh of operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity.

85 MW Commissioned Under GUVNL Projects

The latest addition includes 45 MW of wind capacity under GUVNL Hybrid Phase I and 40 MW under GUVNL Hybrid Phase II. Both projects are connected at the Charadva (Halvad/morbi) GETCO Substation in Gujarat.

With the 45 MW commissioning, 145 MW of the 150 MW GUVNL Hybrid Phase I project is now operational. Under Phase II, 70 MW of the 120 MW contracted capacity has been commissioned.

These projects form part of Juniper’s broader focus on Wind-Solar Hybrid and Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects.

MSEDCL Hybrid Project Fully Commissioned

Juniper Green Energy has also completed the commissioning of its contracted MSEDCL hybrid project by adding the final 10 MW wind component at Chapalgaon in Maharashtra.

The project comprises 75 MW of solar and 25 MW of wind, taking the total project configuration to 100 MW. The company said the contracted capacity was fully commissioned more than two months ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD).

Operational Portfolio Reaches 2,689 MWp

The latest commissioning highlights Juniper Green Energy’s continued expansion across India’s renewable-energy market. Its operational portfolio now stands at 2,689 MWp of solar and wind capacity, supported by 503 MWh of BESS.

Juniper Green Energy has a total portfolio of approximately 11,216 MWp (11.2 GWp) and over 8.9 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with an operational capacity of about 2,689 MWp (2.69 GWp) and 503 MWh of BESS as of September 2026
