Saatvik Green Energy Limited has launched its Quad-Cut TOPCon 3.0 Dual Glass Bifacial Solar PV Module at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026 in Greater Noida, expanding its portfolio of high-efficiency solar modules for utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. The new module delivers a rated power output of up to 670 Wp, a maximum module efficiency of 24.8%, and bifacial output of up to 745 W under bifacial rating conditions (BNPI).

The module was inaugurated by Mohammad Rihan, Director General of the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), in the presence of Saatvik Green Energy’s senior leadership.

Quad-Cut TOPCon 3.0 Technology

The newly launched module is built on advanced N-type TOPCon 3.0 cell technology and features a dual-glass bifacial construction. Its quad-cut, or quarter-cut, cell architecture comprises 264 cells arranged in a 6 × 44 configuration.

According to the company, the design helps reduce current-related resistive losses, minimise hot-spot risks and improve module reliability. The high-power configuration can also help solar developers reduce the number of modules required for a project, potentially lowering balance-of-system costs associated with mounting structures, cabling and installation.

The module features a power temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C, supporting better power retention under high-temperature operating conditions. Its bifacial design enables additional electricity generation from sunlight reaching the rear side of the module, although actual gains depend on site conditions, ground reflectivity and system configuration.

30-Year Power Warranty Backed by Munich Re

Saatvik has introduced a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty for the module. The warranty specifies first-year degradation of 1%, followed by annual degradation of 0.35%. The company guarantees at least 88.85% of rated power at the end of the 30-year warranty period.

The performance warranty is supported by Munich Re insurance, strengthening the product’s long-term performance assurance proposition.

The module is manufactured under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SA 8000 management systems, covering quality, environmental management, occupational health and safety, and social accountability.

Commenting on the launch, Prashant Mathur, Chief Executive Officer of Saatvik Green Energy, said the product reflects the company’s focus on higher-efficiency solar technology, improved project economics and long-term performance for India’s evolving solar market.

Saatvik Expands Solar Manufacturing Capabilities

Saatvik Green Energy currently operates a 4.86 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana. The company is also developing an integrated greenfield manufacturing facility in Odisha with planned capacities of 4 GW for solar modules and 6 GW for solar cells.

The Odisha project is expected to strengthen the company’s presence across the solar manufacturing value chain.

With the launch of its Quad-Cut TOPCon 3.0 module, Saatvik is targeting growing demand for higher-wattage solar technology across utility-scale and C&I projects. The combination of N-type TOPCon cells, bifacial generation capability and a long-term power warranty adds another product to India’s expanding high-efficiency solar module market.
