Senvion India Secures 54.6 MW Wind Order from Prozeal Green in Gujarat

Senvion India has secured a 54.6 MW C&I wind project order from Prozeal Green in Gujarat. The project includes 13 uprated 4.2M160 wind turbines, with supply, installation and up to 25 years of operations and maintenance.

Senvion India has secured a 54.6 MW wind power order from Prozeal Green Private Limited under the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) segment, involving 13 wind turbine generators (WTGs) based on its 4.2M160 platform, uprated to 4.4 MW each, in Gujarat. The order covers turbine supply, installation and comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services for up to 25 years.

  • Project Capacity – 54.6 MW
  • Customer – Prozeal Green Private Limited
  • Project Location – Gujarat, India
  • Wind Turbines – 13 units of Senvion 4.2M160
  • Power Rating – Uprated to 4.4 MW per turbine
  • Rotor Diameter – 160 meters
  • Hub Height – 140 meters
  • Project Scope – Supply, installation and long-term O&M
  • Service Commitment – Up to 25 years
  • Installation Progress – First wind turbine successfully installed in October 2026

First Wind Turbine Installed in Gujarat

According to the company announcement, project deliveries and execution are progressing as scheduled, with the first wind turbine generator successfully installed earlier in October 2026. The development marks an important step in the implementation of the C&I wind project.

The order strengthens Senvion India’s presence in the commercial and industrial renewable energy segment, where businesses increasingly explore wind and other renewable power sources to support their electricity requirements and sustainability objectives.

The announcement does not disclose the project’s investment, expected commissioning date, power purchase tariff or the identity of the ultimate electricity offtaker.

Senvion 4.2M160 Wind Turbine Technology

The project will deploy Senvion’s 4.2M160 wind turbine, built on the company’s modular 4XM platform. The turbine features a 160-metre rotor and supports hub heights of up to 140 metres for the announced configuration.

The large rotor is designed to capture more wind energy across suitable site conditions, while the modular platform supports deployment flexibility. For this project, the turbines will operate at an uprated capacity of 4.4 MW each.

The announcement lists the order capacity as 54.6 MW. However, 13 turbines rated at 4.4 MW each would total 57.2 MW. The company has not explained this difference, so the announced order capacity remains the appropriate figure for reporting.

25-Year O&M and Digital Monitoring

Beyond turbine supply and installation, Senvion will provide comprehensive O&M services for up to 25 years. Following commissioning, the turbines will be supported by the company’s FLEETPRO digital monitoring platform.

The platform enables remote diagnostics, performance monitoring and proactive interventions intended to improve turbine availability and support reliable long-term operations.

Shreyas B Suvarna, CEO of Senvion India, highlighted the turbine’s engineering for Indian wind conditions, localisation and long-term service commitment. Manan Thakkar, CEO of Prozeal Green, said the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy of investing in high-performance, future-ready renewable assets.

Senvion India’s Manufacturing and Service Presence

Senvion India has operated in the country since 2016. According to the company, it has approximately 1.5 GW of annual manufacturing capacity and an operational fleet exceeding 1.6 GW nationwide. Its turbine portfolio includes rotor platforms ranging from 120 metres to 160 metres.

The Prozeal Green order adds to the company’s C&I wind project pipeline, combining large-rotor turbine technology with long-term maintenance support in Gujarat.
